Contemporary Job History
-The Alvarado Star - January 2007 to present. Editor - I was hired as the photographer and feature writer for the Burleson Star. I  took on business page editor responsibilities after four months and became the editor of the Alvarado Star after 16 months. I use graphic and desktop publishing software including Quark Express, In Design and Adobe Photoshop, and I work daily with news sources such as police, government and community leaders.

- March 05 to Feb 06
Writer and business page editor - My duties included newspaper page design, photography, news and feature writing. I became the first editor of a spin-off publication, the Aledo Extra. The positions required knowledge of Quark Xpress desktop publisher and Adobe Photoshop as well as reporting and public relations skills.

· Plaza Exhibits Building
- Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Jan 04 to June 04 (temporary, by contract). Public Relations Director - My duties included ad design, web page and brochure design, event planning and managing entertainment for public events.

·The Community News, Aledo, Texas -  1996 to Oct 2004
Photojournalist - My duties included news writing, feature writing and press releases. As the primary reporter for the paper I maintained working relationships with area businesses, law enforcement and government officials. As a graphics artist I designed weekly ads for Moritz Chevrolet and Buz Post Isuzu.

· Country Music Today Magazine - Jan 96 to Jan 98
Publishing Editor - My work included writing, page design and ad design for a monthly entertainment magazine. The project required use of Microsoft Word and Adobe Photoshop graphics as well as doing business with music acts and music industry managment.
