About Christopher Amos

     Early in my career as a news and sports photographer I was frequently asked to do outside projects, such as weddings, banquets and portraits. Not wanting to be complicated, I simply charged a small service fee and allowed customers to purchase their photographs over the Internet.
       I love taking pictures, but I don't like selling pictures! I started my photography business online simply to avoid having to be the salesman, but my customers said they loved the unique arrangement because it was cheaper, faster, and gave them complete control over what they ordered.
      Some of my credentials include (If you don't like blatant bragging, stop reading and return to the pictures) I have had over 2,000 photographs published in newspapers, was the photographer and founding editor of Country Music Today Magazine, and had my work published in Texas Music News, EMT Magazine, The Texas Press Messenger, and Country Line Magazine.
      I won the North and East Texas Press Association "Photographer of the Year" award two years in a row, and I won first place in photography from the Texas Press Association three times in seven years. I have also done the album covers for recording artists and numerous artist promotional shots.
       All bragging aside - I love to shoot, and I like studying other people's work as well. I also enjoy sharing photography techniques and teach a photography seminar for schools and groups at no charge when my schedule permits.
