About Christopher Amos

     Early in my career as a news and sports photographer I was frequently asked to do outside projects, such as weddings, banquets and portraits. Not wanting to be complicated by sell package deals or photo albums, I simply charged a reasonable fee for my services. You see, I love taking pictures, but I don't like being a salesman.
     The arrangement is less expensive for the customer, faster, and gives them complete control over what they want to order.
      Some of my credentials include (If you don't like blatant bragging, stop reading now) I have had over 2,500 photographs published in newspapers, was the photographer and founding editor of Country Music Today Magazine, and I had my work published in Texas Music News, The Texas Press Messenger, EMT Magagazine (emergency medical tech trade magazine) and Country Line Magazine.
      I won the North and East Texas Press Association "Photographer of the Year" award two years in a row, and I won first place in photography from the Texas Press Association three times. I have also done the album covers for recording artists and numerous musician promotional shots.
       All bragging aside - I love to shoot, and I like studying other people's work as well. I also enjoy sharing photography techniques and teach a photography seminar for schools and groups at no charge when my schedule permits.
