Christopher Amos is a native of Fort Worth and raised his family in Aledo, where he has resided for 24 years. After launching his career as a newspaper photojournalist in 1996, he was frequently asked to do outside photography projects, such as banquets, weddings, meetings and graduation portraits. Not wanting to sell complicated packages and photo albums, he simply charged a reasonable fee for his services and gave the pictures to clients to print and use as they wished. “You see,” Christopher said, “I am a photographer, not a salesman.”
The arrangement is less expensive for the customer and gives the client control over what they order. Some of the Texas Press Association and North and East Texas Press Association photography awards Christopher has won include: 2011 First Place Feature Photography 2010 First Place Feature Photography 2010 First Place News Photography 2001 Photographer of the Year 2000 Photographer of the Year Photographing North Texas
He has had more than 1,500 photographs printed in seven North Texas newspapers as well as in Country Line Magazine, Country Music Today, EMT Magazine and The Messenger.
